Some people “Just don’t get it!!!”

It never ceases to amaze me how some people are just too dense to get it. Let me give your a perfect example of what I mean by that. I have been gone from TPSRadio for awhile now…but unfortunately there is still a link at the site to my past shows. The link can be found at the TPSRadio site by clicking the Podcast Network tab on the homepage and then by clicking on TPSRadio Podcast RSS. If you scroll down you will see The Shift…one problem though…when you click on it…all Sports Buffet shows come up. Now…the way I see this is that anyone who does come there looking for my content can’t get it. It has been addressed with the owner of TPSRadio…he’s been asked to remove the link. But to no avail…he is either stupid or spiteful…I don’t know which. Perhaps a letter from my attorney will get the link removed. The Shift is not The Sports Buffet…don’t insult my show. Jenn carries that show. It’s amazing to me that once people get these so-called “Titles” they take leave of their senses. So once again if you ever get to reading this post…just remove the link…is it that hard for you to comprehend? Thank God you don’t have to take a Wunderlic test!

It happened again!!!!

I’m not gettin’ this AT ALL as a Yankee fan! I did a post here a few posts back questioning why Joe Girardi left Mike Mussina in to pitch against Manny Ramirez…so what happens last night? Moose goes up against Josh Beckett…50,000+ in attendance at the stadium who paid damned good money to see a good game…and as Lawrence Welk would say in his prime…”Anna one, Anna two!” Manny hits #’s 4 & 5…homers that may have caused tide fluctuations because they probably hit the moon!!! Manny has 5 blasts already…it’s obvious he is pickin’ up the slack for David Ortiz…why is this guy even starting? Middle-relief may be an option right now…Mussina is not even a #5 starter right now…but he’s being paid STARTER’S TYPE MONEY!!! I have a question for Randy Levine, Brian Cashman, and yes the Steinbrenner boys. Are you sure Mussina’s jersey isn’t buried across the street in the concrete…maybe Damon’s jersey is on top of it along with Giambi’s!!! Joe Girardi…you were a catcher…YOU CAN’T SEE WHEN THIS GUY IS DONE? Joe…thanks for once again leaving a packed Yankee Stadium house disappointed. Maybe we can make Pavano our #5 next…could it be any worse? Thanks for doin’ Pennsylvania proud Moose! The damn game was over in the 1st inning!!! And Cashman…you could have seperated yourself from this guy…he has been a BUST since he came here from the O’s!!!

One day away!!!

The Heart Discography Contest will air Friday at 11pm Eastern-8pm Pacific…please join me!!! I will be using Ustream for the video part of the broadcast and Ubroadcast for the audio portion…links to my Ustream page and to download the Ubroadcast player are listed under my Blogroll on the right sidebar…2 things you need to know…Firstly, you’ll have to be registered with Ustream to chat Friday night…and secondly…you need to download the Ubroadcast player to hear the show…it only takes a few minutes to get the Ubroadcast player…once you have it…enter 3666 in the channel box and click on jump…and you’re in. I will NOT be in the Ubroadcast chat…only in the Ustream one. Hope to see ya Friday night!

Clueless Joe II ?

joemannymoose Hey Joe…take a good look at the picture furthest to the right…maybe you have it hanging in your manager’s office…or the dugout…or the pitchers notebook on the dugout bench. In case you didn’t realize it…it is a picture of Moose from days long past. Now don’t get me wrong…Mussina is a very serviceable 5th starter for this team. He is basically a 5-inning pitcher anymore…but you will get starts from him that are longer than that. I have a very important question for you though…Why in the HELL did you let Moose pitch to Manny last night instead of Youkilis? That was the ball game right there Joe!!! At least if you by-passed Manny and a guy with a name like You-Kill-Us beat us I could have lived with it…very bad managing on your part…you saw the guy jumping in the sharks mouth on my earlier post over the loss the day before…how the hell am I gonna top that??? Mussina is pitching well enough to win right now…I don’t know if that will be the case as the season wears on and his arm gets tired. I know you were sick lately…but WAKE UP!!! You are managing the Yankees…not the damn Marlins!!!

My sincere thanks to Bill Serritello !!!

Where’s the beef?

Not all burgers are created equal. That’s important, especially when you consider that the average guy will eat 100 of them this year.

Take America’s two most famous burgers, the Whopper with Cheese and the Big Mac. A fair fight, right? Well, if you go for the Arch alternative, you’ll save 220 calories over the BK behemoth. Use that strategy for every burger you eat in 2008 and you’ll save 22,000 calories — the equivalent of 6 pounds of body fat.

See, the way you pick your favorite fixes — from burgers to banana splits — could help you make the transition from chubby to chiseled. In researching Eat This, Not That! the best-selling book based on the popular column in Men’s Health magazine, we found that the most effective weight-loss strategy doesn’t require you to abandon the foods you love but simply to make better choices when selecting them. Do that and you’ll trade failed diets and wild weight fluctuations for healthy eating patterns and a lean, new you. Who wouldn’t make that swap?….(courtesy of Men’s Health Magazine)Burger
